GE phoenix nanome|x X-Ray Inspection System | Used Nanofocus X-Ray Equipment
GE phoenix|x-ray nanome|x is a high-resolution nanofocus X-Ray inspection system designed for advanced inspection of SMT assemblies, semiconductor packages, microelectronic components and high-density PCBs.
With advanced nanofocus X-Ray technology, the nanome|x provides extremely high-resolution imaging for detecting hidden defects and analyzing complex internal structures that cannot be identified by conventional optical inspection. Historical GE specifications indicate detail detectability down to approximately 0.2 µm, depending on system configuration.
The nanofocus X-Ray tube provides an extremely small focal spot, reducing geometric unsharpness and enabling high-resolution inspection of very small electronic structures.
The nanome|x was designed for applications requiring detailed inspection of advanced electronic packages and microelectronic components. Historical product information describes a 180 kV high-power nanofocus tube and high-magnification imaging exceeding 20,000×, depending on configuration.
The nanome|x can be configured with nanoCT® technology for high-resolution three-dimensional analysis.
3D CT allows operators to examine internal structures from different angles and analyze hidden defects such as die-attach voids, internal cracks, bonding defects and complex package structures without physically destroying the sample.
With the phoenix|x-ray X|act software platform, the nanome|x can support CAD-based automated X-Ray inspection (µAXI), helping automate inspection tasks and improve repeatability for advanced electronic assemblies.
