TRI TR518 II INLINE (TR518 SII INLINE) is a fully electrical inline MDA/ICT tester built for direct integration into automated SMT assembly lines. It supports up to 2496 analog test points, fully compatible with SMEMA communication standard, requiring no compressed air. It inherits all measurement capabilities of TR518 SII offline model, delivering continuous automatic board loading, testing and unloading for medium-volume mass PCBA manufacturing.
This inline platform adopts 6-wire high-precision measurement matrix and TRI patented TestJet® vectorless open detection. Compact footprint saves production floor space, and intelligent conveyor handling protects PCBA from damage during automatic transfer. Bypass conveyor option available for multi-tester inline setup.
TR518 II INLINE uses 6-wire measurement switching matrix to eliminate fixture contact resistance error for stable, repeatable component readings. Multiple programmable test frequencies, stray capacitance offset and phase separation RLC measurement are integrated. Runs on Windows 10 with USB connection to control PC. Board view visualization helps engineers quickly locate defects and reduce program debug time. Fully electrical design removes air compressor dependency, lowering factory operation and maintenance cost.
Powered by TRI proprietary test software, TR518 II INLINE supports automatic test learning, multi-panel program generation and YMS yield management system integration. Typical capabilities include: TestJet vectorless open test, automatic program learning, electrolytic capacitor polarity inspection, stray capacitance compensation, SMEMA inline handshake, SPC logging, yield analysis & custom reporting.
The system can be linked in series with other inline inspection machines, enabling fully automatic production workflow without manual board handling.
Inline conveyor fixture design, compatible with automatic board transfer. Supports PCB size from 50 × 50 mm up to 450 × 300 mm (optional 500 × 360 mm). Modular test point configuration, quick fixture changeover for product change. Intelligent board handling prevents scratches and component damage during automatic transport.
