Modular MDA / ICT / FCT In-Circuit Tester for High-Density PCBA Mass Production
TRI TR5001E SII is a modular scalable in-circuit tester supporting MDA, ICT and optional FCT functional testing for populated PCB assemblies in SMT mass manufacturing. With up to 3456 test points and 1:1 pin driver/receiver architecture, it delivers high fault coverage for complex, high-density boards, ideal for automotive, industrial and consumer electronics production lines.
The system adopts 6-wire high-precision measurement technology and TRI patented ToggleScan® & Enhanced TestJet, detecting hidden open/short faults even on boards with limited probe access. It supports offline bench configuration or inline SMEMA-compatible integration for automated production lines.
TR5001E SII features 6-wire measurement matrix with auto-guarding function to eliminate fixture resistance interference and ensure stable and accurate component readings. Its exclusive 1:1 driver/receiver per pin design simplifies fixture modification when ECN board changes occur and speeds up test program development & debugging. It runs on Windows 11, with intuitive test editor, waveform display and board view for fast fault pinpointing.
Powered by TRI proprietary test software, TR5001E supports automatic test program generation, real-time fault visualization and smart factory data integration. Typical capabilities include: Boundary Scan, ToggleScan®, TestJet vectorless testing, On-board firmware programming, PXI/LabVIEW external instrument integration, Image enhancement, SPC logging, Yield analysis & custom reporting.
The platform can be upgraded stepwise from basic MDA to full ICT and FCT functional test, protecting your equipment investment.
Supports offline press-type fixture and inline SMEMA compatible conveyor system. The inline version adopts quick-disconnect interface for fast fixture changeover. Multi-core parallel testing option improves throughput for multi-panel boards.
