High-Speed MDA / ICT In-Circuit Tester for SMT PCBA Mass Production
TRI TR518 II (also known as TR518 SII) is a reliable upgraded MDA/ICT tester built on the proven TR518 platform, widely deployed in SMT PCBA mass production. It adopts 6-wire high-precision measurement matrix, supports up to 2560 analog test points, equipped with TRI patented TestJet® vectorless open detection technology, delivering fast and stable component measurement and high fault coverage for populated printed circuit boards.
The system features USB connection to PC or laptop and runs on Windows 10, greatly simplifying setup and program development. It balances high throughput and testing accuracy, ideal for consumer electronics, power supply and industrial control board mass manufacturing.
TR518 II (TR518 SII) uses advanced 6-wire measurement switching matrix to eliminate fixture contact resistance error, achieving precise measurement for resistors, capacitors and inductors. It supports multiple programmable test frequencies, stray capacitance offset and phase separation RLC measurement for stable and repeatable readings. The Windows 10 operating system and intuitive graphical board view allow engineers to quickly locate faults and shorten test program debugging time.
Powered by TRI proprietary test software, TR518 II supports automatic test learning, multi-panel program generation and yield management system integration. Typical capabilities include: TestJet vectorless open test, automatic program learning, electrolytic capacitor polarity inspection, stray capacitance compensation, SPC logging, yield analysis & custom reporting.
Optional inline SMEMA version is available for direct integration into fully automated SMT production lines without compressed air requirement.
Supports offline press-type fixture and optional inline conveyor fixture. Modular test point expansion, scalable from 512 points up to maximum 2560 analog test points. Compact cabinet design saves factory floor space, easy maintenance and fast fixture changeover.
