TRI TR5001 Tiny (TR5001T SII TINY) is an ultra-compact, lightweight desktop In-Circuit Tester (ICT) designed for populated PCBA testing, prototype verification and small-batch SMT manufacturing. With maximum 640 analog test points and USB connection to PC or laptop, it delivers full MDA and analog ICT capability in a small footprint, a cost-effective alternative to large floor-standing ICT systems.
The tester adopts 6-wire high-precision measurement matrix to eliminate fixture resistance error, supporting accurate passive component measurement and reliable circuit fault detection. Multiple units can be connected simultaneously for parallel testing of multi-panel boards.
TR5001 Tiny uses TRI’s proven 6-wire measurement switching matrix, removing fixture resistance interference and ensuring stable, repeatable component readings. It features programmable DUT power supplies and flexible test frequency settings. Running on Windows 10, the intuitive software enables fast test program development and direct fault location on PCB layout view. Ultra-small form factor (335 × 260 × 185 mm, 8–11 kg) saves bench space, portable enough for lab and pilot production.
Powered by TRI proprietary test software, TR5001 Tiny supports automatic test program generation, real-time fault visualization and yield management system integration. Typical capabilities include: Boundary Scan, TestJet vectorless testing, Serial device firmware programming, Image enhancement, SPC data logging, Yield analysis & custom reporting.
TRI patented ToggleScan™ improves test coverage for dense PCBAs with limited probe access. Multiple testers can work in parallel to reduce fixture and labor cost for multi-panel boards.
Supports manual fixture or press-type fixture. Simple USB connection to PC/laptop, easy deployment in R&D lab, pilot line and small batch production. Optional inline SMEMA module available for automated production integration.
