The KEYENCE VHX-500FE is an all-in-one bench-top digital microscope from the VHX-500F series (discontinued), widely deployed for offline lab review and failure analysis of SMT PCBA, automotive and industrial electronics. Equipped with a 2.11MP CCD image sensor and integrated 15" UXGA color TFT LCD. Selectable frame rate 15 / 28 fps, supercharge shutter from 0.2s to 17s for low-light inspection. Powered by extended depth-of-field technology, it captures fully focused images on uneven solder joints and complex components. Multi-angle tilted observation enables visual inspection of BGA/QFN solder wetting, cracks and pinholes. Built-in 2D dimensional measurement and 3D profiling, automatically generate traceable inspection reports compliant with IATF16949. It acts as a laboratory verification tool together with AOI and AXI for defect confirmation and process validation.
